Lalrinnunga wins silver in Youth World Weightlifting

Jeremy Lalrinnunga clinched a silver medal in boy's 56kg category as India opened their account on the first day of the IWF Youth (Boys & Girls) World Weightlifting Championships here today.

Lalrinnunga lifted a total of 240kg (110 in snatch + 130) in clean and jerk) to finish second in the event.

This championship serves as the qualifying event of the 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
