The Centre has extended the last date for filing property returns for all public servants till October 15, Punjab government said today.
"As per the communication received from Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, the last date for the filing the online property returns, under section 44 of the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013, has been extended till October 15, 2015," official spokesman of Personnel Department of state government said here.
He said under section 44 of the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013, all the public servants were earlier required to furnish the information relating to assets and liabilities through online application till April 30 and now the last date has been extended up till October 15, 2015.
All the IAS officers serving in the state of Punjab have been issued written instructions in this regard, he said.
