Lead eased 0.25 per cent to Rs 117.80 per kg in futures trade today largely due to subdued spot demand and weak global cues.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the June contracts of lead fell 30 paise, or 0.25 per cent, to Rs 117.80 per kg, in a business turnover of six lots.
Also, the May contracts of the metal fell by 25 paise, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 117.15 per kg in 396 lots.
Marketmen said the fall in lead futures was due to a subdued demand from battery-makers at domestic markets and weak global cues.
