Lashing out at the "corrupt" Congress regime and the "communal" BJP, the state Left Front today appealed to the people of Bengal by alleging that both BJP and Congress are trying to woo Trinamool as their ally after the elections.
"The state will go for polls in 42 Lok Sabha segments and six Assembly constituencies. There is a need to stop the communal BJP and corrupt Congress. Both parties are trying to woo Trinamool as their post-poll ally," stated the Left Front in its appeal to the masses.
"It is possible only for the people of West Bengal to elect the most number of Left MPs and send them to the Parliament in order to increase the strength of the Left. Only the Left can provide an alternative to Congress and BJP," it said.
