Left to observe December 6 as Black Day

The left parties in West Bengal today decided to observe December 6, when the Babri Masjid was demolished in 1992, as "Black day".
The decision was taken at a meeting of 17 left parties at the CPI-M headquarters on Alimuddin Street here, CPI-M politburo member and Left Front chairman Biman Bose said.
Bose invited people, irrespective of political affiliations, to join a procession to be taken out from Mahajati Sadan to Rabindra Sadan.
"There will not be any personal invitation. We welcome people from all walks of life to join the rally. People from other political parties who believe in communal harmony, including intellectuals, are welcome," Bose said.
