A leopard today attacked and seriously injured two persons at Andhiyari village, some 100 km from here, a forest official said.
Rajkumar Gujjar (38) and Brijmohan Lodhi (22) have been rushed to Bhopal for treatment, Gairatganj forest division ranger AK Jhawar said.
He said that the leopard, hiding in a thicket, first attacked Gujjar who was on his way to the field.
"When he shouted for help, people rushed in but the leopard attacked and injured Lodhi, one of those who had come forward to help," Jhawar said.
Efforts were on to track down the leopard, he added.
