Leopard found dead in Kheri

A leopard was found dead near Laukiha village under the south Kheri forest division today.

The carcass was in a badly decomposed condition indicating its death four to five days back, the forest officials said.

All vital parts of the body have been found to be intact and no physical injury marks were detected on the body, they said, adding that Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) experts from Bareilly have been approached to ascertain the exact cause of death.
