The Orissa High Court today converted a letter petition into PIL, which has sought for a CBI enquiry into the ongoing Plus II question paper leak case in the state.
A letter written by an advocate was converted into a PIL and the court is likely to take up the writ for hearing tomorrow.
Nishikant Mishra, in his capacity as Secretary of Nationalist Lawyers' Forum, had written a letter to Odisha Chief Justice C Nagappan urging him to order a CBI inquiry into the whole episode of question paper leak incident.

The letter accompanying newspaper clippings allege that the state Higher Education minister, his kin and several key officials of the department are involved in the incident in exchange of a huge kickback.
�����Mishra also questioned the competence of the state crime branch police, which is currently investigating the matter. He sought a CBI probe as "crime branch police have failed in cracking similar wrongdoing reported earlier in the state."
Giving example of last year's matriculation examination question paper theft, the petitioner said the crime branch investigation has yielded nothing.
