Libya parliament to hold 'emergency meeting' in Tobruk: MP

Libya's new parliament, elected on June 25, will hold an emergency meeting on Saturday in Tobruk in the east of the country, MP Abu Bakr Biira told AFP.
The parliament had been due to meet on August 4 in Benghazi.
"But in light of the dangerous situation in the country we decided to hold an emergency meeting in Tobruk," some 200 kilometres east of Benghazi, said Biira, who was due to preside over the inaugural session.
