Licensed revolvers take minor's life; another critical

A 12-year-old boy was killed and a 4-year-old critically injured in two separate incidents of accidental firing here, police said today.

Arpit (12), a resident of posh Ganga Sagar Residential colony here, was playing with his sister in his room yesterday when he accidentally triggered his father's licensed revolver kept on bed, they said.

He was rushed to a nearby nursing home where he was declared dead.

Meanwhile, in another incidence, 4-year-old Krishna from Ikadi Village is in critical condition after being shot by his father during marriage ceremony celebrations, police said.

A case has been registered against the father, they said.
