After relentless downpour, rains have taken a break since yesterday in large parts of Madhya Pradesh as life is limping back to normalcy.
However, heavy rainfall has been forecast in over half a dozen districts in the next 24 hours.
After days of cloudy weather, the sun today came out brightly in most parts of the State, where rain fury and floods have claimed 22 lives till now.

A handful of districts received only a small amount of rainfall since yesterday. South MP witnessed no rain activity. But some places in North MP might receive rainfall, India Meteorological Department's Bhopal Centre Director Anupam Kashyapi told PTI this evening.
State Disaster Response Force's Commandant Santosh Kumar Jat said they didn't receive any distress call today.
Heavy rainfall might occur at isolated places in Sheopur, Shivpuri, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna and Rewa districts during the next 24 hours, Kashyapi said.
A rain alert has been issued for Hoshangabad district, he added.
