Life imprisonment for three in 8-year-old murder case

Three persons were sentenced to life imprisonment in an eight-year-old murder case by a local court.

Additional Session judge SP Mishra yesterday gave life imprisonment to Shelendra, Nirmal and Mahesh for murdering Ran Singh on August 7, 2008.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 13000 each on the convicts.

Police said Singh was shot dead in Sheetalpur village while he was returning home on his motorcycle on August 7. Singh died on the spot, they said.
