A court here today sentenced two brothers to life imprisonment in a 20-year-old murder case.
Additional District and Sessions Judge B P Singh held the two brothers -- Jitendra Rai alias Lohia and Upendra Rai -- guilty for the crime and awarded them life sentence.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 15,000 each on them.
The two brothers had shot dead one Vijay Kumar on March 24, 1997 at Arniya village after they got to know that he was in a relationship with their sister.
Vijay used to give tuition to the girl. His father Yogi Rai had lodged the FIR in the case.
