Life term to 4 for murdering ex-Bihar minister Kanan's son
Four persons were awarded life imprisonment by a court in Bihar's Vaishali district today for murdering former Bihar minister Motilal Kanan's son Atul Krishnan four years ago.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Bhola Nath Tiwari also imposed Rs 15,000 each on Sunil Kumar, Raju Kumar, Abhishek Kumar and Sanjay Sharma.
The judge, however, acquitted Atul's wife Shalini for lack of evidence.
Atul, a Samajwadi Party leader, was shot dead outside his residence at Dak Bungalow road here on June 8, 2013.
