Light rains in parts of Himachal Pradesh

Some areas of Himachal Pradesh received light rains since Saturday evening, the Meteorological (MeT) department said.

Manali received 12 mm rain since Saturday 5.30 pm, followed by Palampur (5.6 mm), Bilaspur (2 mm), Nahan (1.8 mm) and Kangra (0.2 mm), Shimla MeT centre Director Manmohan Singh said.

The lowest temperature in the state was recorded in tribal district Lahaul and Spiti's administrative centre Keylong at 8.5 degrees Celsius, he added.
