Light rains over east Uttar Pradesh

Light to moderate rains occurred today at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh even as the weather was dry in west UP.

According to the Met office, chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms was Kakrahi-7, Mariahun-4, Akbarpur, Bahraich, Mahrajganj, Mohmadabad-3 each, and Bandi, Regoli, Pharenda-2 each.

The Met department has forecast rain and thundershowers at isolated places over east UP.
