Light to moderate rainfall was recorded at many places in north Bihar and at a few places in south Bihar in the past 24 hours, Meteorological department said.
Heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in south west and south central parts of the state, it said.
Patna and Gaya recorded 14.2 mm and 10 mm of rainfall respectively in past 24 hours while Bhagalpur received nil rain and Purnea registered 3.2 mm of rainfall, Met office said.

In its forecast for next 24 hours, the department said that it would be a generally cloudy sky with light rain in Patna and Bhagalpur whereas Gaya is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.
Purnea may witness a generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thundershowers in next 24 hours, it said.
The maximum humidity level in Patna and Gaya hovered between 86 to 89 per cent while it ranged between 76 to 79 per cent in the evening, Met office said.
Similarly, the humidity level was recorded at 77 per cent in the morning and 83 per cent in the evening in Bhagalpur while the morning humidity level was registered at 78 per cent and that of 98 per cent in the evening in Purnea.
