Light to moderate rainfall occured in parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh while weather remained dry in the western districts.
According to the MeT department, Sultanpur recording a maximum of 10 cm rainfall followed by Chunar (7), Chandradeepghat and Ghorawal (5 each), Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Mirzapur and Robertganj (4 each), it said.
The Met has forecast of rain and thundershower at isolated places in eastern region but weather is likely to remain dry in the western parts tomorrow.
