Lightning strike kills four person

Four persons, including two women, were killed when lightning struck them in Digharpur village in Karimganj district, police said today.

Lightning struck them in the village under Bhanga area last night during heavy rains.

The deceased have been identified as Saidul Alam Azad (27), Shaina Began (20), Rasid Ahmed (13) and Sahana Begam (9), police said.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, the police said.
