Lightning strike kills labourer

A labourer working in a brick kiln was killed when lightning struck him in Purulia district today, police said.

35-year-old Tarapada Singha was working in a brick kiln in Sarenga area of the district when lightning struck him, Superintendent of Police, Sukhendu Hira said.

Singha was a native of Bandawan area of Purulia district, the SP said.
