Lion dies of old age

Park succumbed to old age-related ailments here today.

The lion died at the Bannerghatta Biological Park rescue centre due to old age-related problems after it did not respond to treatment, an official release said.

Raja (25) was rescued from a circus in Madhya Pradesh in 2001.
