Liquor worth Rs 40 lakh seized, 2 arrested

A lorry carrying illegally transported liquor worth Rs 40 lakh was today seized on the Megha Highway near Balotra in Barmer district, police said.

The consignment was brought from Haryana and the truck was intercepted at a check post on the highway, they said.

Two persons were arrested in this connection.
