The live-action feature film adaptation of "Aladdin" is all set to cast Middle Eastern artistes in the lead roles.
Writer Dani Fernandez took to Twitter to announce that the team of the film is looking for Middle Eastern actors to play Aladdin and Jasmine.
"Alright kids, if you know someone who fits this, you better share this with them. Submit ASAP. Good luck my babies," wrote Fernandez, along side the poster of the film calling for auditions.

The poster clearly states four points: "These characters are Middle Eastern," "Should be between 18-25 years old," "Must be able to sing" and "Dance experience is a plus".
The rehearsals for the Guy Ritchie film begins next month, while the movie will be shot in the UK from July this year to January 2018.
