Loans distributed to SHGs

Puducherry Local Administration Minister N G Panneerselvam today distributed loans totalling to Rs 22 lakhs to members of all women self help groups here.

He said self help groups played a vital role in ameliorating the socio economic condition of downtrodden.

He said the self help groups formed in Puducherry had been playing their role in orienting the beneficiaries on proper economic direction and proved that great development could be achieved through such initiatives.
