A local BJP leader and three others got injured in a clash between Trinamoool Congress and BJP over a girl's school election here today.
Police said there was a scuffle over Chunibala Girls' School mmanaging committee election but situation was peaceful now.
The scuffle led to the injury of Jhargram town BJP President Sukhomay Satpathy, police said.
BJP sources claimed three other party workers were also injured in the attack by lathi-wielding TMC supporters.
BJP-TMC clashes have become mmore frequent in the run-up to 2016 assembly polls in West Bengal.
