Lone TMC MLA in UP joins BSP

The lone Trinamool Congress

legislator in Uttar Pradesh, Shyam Sunder Sharma, today joined the BSP.

A seven-time MLA from Mant Assembly constituency in Mathura, merged with the BSP, a party release said.

BSP president Mayawati has given her assent to the merger of party having Shyam Sunder Sharma, it said.

A letter in this regard has also been written to Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey, the release said.
