Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend Eleanor Calder finds it difficult to date the One Direction heartthrob because of his global fame and adoring fan base.
Tomlinson, who is dating politics and sociology student Calder, said it hasn't been easy for her to adjust to the amount of attention he receives, reported Sun Online.
"It hasn't been easy at times. She gets pretty intimidated by it all. I mean, who wouldn't? She can't have Twitter or anything like that. At first, I was like, 'Just chill out a bit, it's fine', but now I understand where she's coming from. I can't expect her to deal with some of the stuff so easily. But with that said, I couldn't be happier with her," he said.
The 21-year-old star is often mobbed by his fans while trying to spend quality time with Calder.
"Me and Eleanor went shopping a few times on the last tour. All was fine at first, we got out fine but went into Urban Outfitters and it just went berserk. We went to Disneyland. I wore glasses and a balaclava but it still didn't work. I wish there were one that would work but I still think it would be weird," he added.
