Lt Governor prorogues Puducherry Assembly

Lt Governor Virendra Kataria has prorogued the Puducherry Assembly which adjourned sine die after a brief monsoon session on December 30.

The Lt Governor's order proroguing the assemmbly was issued on January 8 and has been published in the current issue of the State Gazette.
