Madhuri Dixit's father passes away

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit's father, Shankar R Dixit, died today morning after prolonged illness. He was 91.

Shankar's family was by his side when he breathed his last.

"We'll miss him but we know he lived a full life. We thank all those who have offered their condolences and prayers," Madhuri said in a statement.

The 46-year-old actress currently judges dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa', which will have its finale this weekend.
