Two employees of Madhya Pradesh roadways department were caught today by Rajasthan Anti Corruption Bureau for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 60,000 from a client for issuing a draft of accident claim after a court's compensation award.
Upper Division Clerk Jagdish Prasad and Conductor Bheemdan posted in Bhopal Roadways Headquarters were arrested on a complaint of Laxman Prasad who lost his daughter Savitri in road accident in a MP Roadways bus in 2005, Inspector General of Police, ACB, Smita Srivastava said.
Savitri had boared the MP roadways bus at Indore for Jodhpur, and bus collided with a truck in Sendra in Pali district in 2005.

MACT Court in Jodhpur had awarded a sum of Rs 6,63,000 as compensation to the father. For issuing a draft to the complainant, the duo accused sought ten per cent of the amount as commission, she said.
Accused were called at a hotel in Jodhpur where ACB organised the trap and arrested them, IGP-ACB said.
A case under Anti-Corruption Act was lodged against them, she said.
