'Magic Mike' sequel to release next year

Channing Tatum starrer 'Magic Mike' sequel will release on July 3, 2015.

The film, a follow-up to the 2012 hit, starred Tatum as a male stripper and was based on some of his real-life experiences.

'Magic Mike' was directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Plans for a sequel have been discussed since the first film came out.
