Maharashtra Advocate General Shrihari Aney will address the Joint Session of Maharashtra Legislature's Winter Session here on day one on December 7.
This is probably for the first time in the State history when the State Advocate General will be addressing the Legislators.
The Speaker of State Legislative Assembly, Haribhau Bhagde, has invited the Advocate General to speak before the House, Aney told PTI.

He said under the provision of Article 177 of the Indian Constitution, Advocate General of State is entitled to speak in the House.
Aney will speak on the Breach of Privileges and Contempt of House at 3 PM on Monday.
At the onset, the House will take up condolence motion to condole the demises of former state Governors OP Mehra and Mohammed Fazal and former Deputy Assembly Speaker Pramod Shende and briefly adjourn to re-assemble for the joint session.
