'Mahateji' wins the main race

Four-year-old 'Mahateji' ably ridden by F Sweeney won the Golconda Oaks(GradeII), chief event of Hyderabad Winter Races held here today.

Winner was trained M Srinivas Reddy.

Trainers D. Netto scored triple, M Srinivas Reddy and D'Silva scored double each while Jockeys F Sweeney and Kunal Bunde scored double each.

None first favourites obliged in a card of eight events.
