Ajsu president and former Jharkhand deputy Chief Minister Sudesh Mahto today said House proceedings through video coverage should not be switched off as it deprived the people from watching the happenings.
"I have come to know from you. Blacking out proceedings not proper as it prevents people from watching the proceedings on TV," Mahto told reporters here.
He was replying a media query on Speaker Shashank Sekhar Bhokta's direction to switch off the House cameras.

The Speaker asked the cameramen to shut off the cameras when the opposition members raised a din over the dismissal of rural development minister Chandra Sekhar Dubey by Chief Minister Hemant Soren yesterday.
The opposition, which demanded the chief minister give a reason behind his action against his minister, disrupted almost the entire day and forced the Speaker to adjourn the House till tomorrow.
BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Raghuvar Das said the opposition would continue with its demand till it got a reply from the chief minister.
Hitting back at the opposition, ruling MLA Bandhu Tirkey of Jharkhand Janadhikar Manch said, "The opposition should have brought the matter in a disciplined manner by allowing the House to function and take up important questions pertaining to the people of the state.
