Prices of maize and bajra fell further by up to Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.
However, rice basmati and wheat remained flat in thin trade.
Marketmen said sluggish demand from consuming industries against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on maize and bajra prices.
