Majid Majidi catches IPL match at Eden Gardens

Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi was one of the many spectators at Kolkata's Eden Gardens as he watched the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The 58-year-old director was in the city to promote his latest film "Beyond the Clouds", starring Ishaan Khatter and Malavika Mohanan in the lead.

Majidi was accompanied by Mohanan at the stadium.

Majidi, is best known for world cinema classics like "The Song of Sparrows", "Baran", "The Color of Paradise" and "Children of Heaven".

SRH won the match after managing to restrict KKR at 138 and chased the target with 5 wickets to spare.

"Beyond the Clouds" will release worldwide on April 20.
