A massive bureaucratic reshuffle is on the cards in Uttar Pradesh following an increase of 16 IAS officers' posts after a cadre review by the Centre.
After the cadre review by Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT), the number of IAS officers has gone up from 321 to 337 in the state.
Official sources said here today that the cadre review of UP IAS was done by the DOPT on December 31, 2014.
The posts are for Principal Secretary (five), Secretary (four), District Magistrate (three) and Chief Development Officer (four), they said.
In view of this, a major reshuffle is on the anvil, an official of the state Appointment Department said.
