Make cleanliness a habit to fulfill Gandhi's dream of Clean

Union Minister Uma Bharti today asked people to make cleanliness a habit to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi's dream of a 'Clean India'.

"Each one of us will have to be aware about cleanliness if we are to achieve Gandhi's dream of a Clean India," the Water Resources Minister told reporters here.

She also released a booklet on conclusion of Swachchta Pakhwada (cleanliness fortnight) observed by her ministry from March 16 to March 31.

Parmeswaran Iyer, Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water was also present during the briefing.
