West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today met President Pranab Mukherjee and Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu before winding up her three-day trip to the national capital.
Sources said Banerjee discussed various ongoing rail projects in the state with Prabhu.
During her stay in the capital, she had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, among others.

At her meetings with Modi and Jaitley yesterday, Banerjee had sought loan waiver and adequate central funds for West Bengal.
Meanwhile, Prabhu has launched an initiative to join hands with state governments for expediting rail projects.
Seeking cooperation from states, Prabhu had written to all Chief Ministers in the recent past to form joint venture companies with railways for faster execution of rail projects in their respective states.
