Man arrested for killing cow after argument with owner

A man has been arrested for allegedly killing a cow after a heated argument with its owner in Rajpur village of Muzaffarnagar district, a police official said today.

A case was registered against unidentified people for killing the cow on July 11, and Sachin was found involved in the incident, Jansath police station SHO Premvir Singh said.

He has confessed that he shot dead the animal following an altercation with its owner at his home, Singh said.
