Police today arrested a man who allegedly killed an employee of Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam (GNN) around three months ago, an official said here.
Sihani Gate police station in charge Ashok Shishodia said that contract killer Iqbal, a resident of Sikandarabad, along with three accomplices, had killed GNN employee Pradeep Sharma on October 25 last after taking Rs three lakh from one Naushad.
Shishodia said an FIR was lodged against Naushad, Saleem and one unknown assailant. Upon interrogation, Iqbal confessed that Naushad had paid him rupees three lakh to kill Sharma. Naushad was earlier arrested by police, he said.

Shishodia further said Sharma, a resident of Chaudhary Enclave, used to lend money and he had a prolonged dispute with Naushad and Saleem on re-payment of some loan amount.
Sharma was abducted when he had gone to his father's house in Patel Nagar and was later brutally murdered.
His body was found bundled in a sack near a drain at Garhmukteshwar in Hapur district with bullet wounds on his face and neck slit. Two absconding assailants will also be nabbed soon, the police officer added.
