Man arrested for making teenaged girl pregnant

An engineering graduate was today arrested for allegedly making pregnant a 15-year old girl, daughter of daily wage earners, on the promise of marrying her.

Vijayan was arrested on a complaint from the nineth standard girl, who gave birth to a baby boy at a government hospital in Bhavani in the district today, police said.

All-women police at Bhavani registered a case and investigations found that the man was already married.
