Man arrested for poisoning neighbour
A person was today arrested for allegedly murdering his neighbour by serving him poison-laced cold drink.
Yogendra Giri was arrested for poisoning Raju Giri on August 30, Sheelesh Yadav, SHO Kavi Nagar police station, said.
Raju died today in a hospital where he was undergoing treatment, Yadav said, adding, Yogendra was arrested following a statement by the victim before he died.
The body has been sent for postmortem and the accused has been sent to jail under Section 328 and 302 of IPC, the SHO added.
