A 56-year-old man has been arrested today on charges of sexually assaulting a mentally challenged woman in her house here.
The accused identified as Rayappan entered the house of the victim yesterday, when her mother was out for some work, and raped her, police said.
He posed himself as a close relative to the victim (29) last night.
Based on the complaint by the mother at All Women Police station, Rayappan was arrested, they said, adding further investigations were on.
