Man arrested for sexually assaulting his minor daughters

A 40-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting his two minor daughters in Karnal district of Haryana.

The case came into light yesterday when a 15-year-old girl approached the police alleging that his father was sexually assaulting her and her younger sister (9) for the last three to four years, police said.

A case was registered and the man was arrested from Bal Ragdan village of Karnal, police said.

Counselling of both the victims was also conducted in the presence of a woman advocate and a policewomen, police said.

The man was produced before a court which remanded him in judicial custody.
