Man arrested for stealing bench from Neil Patrick Harris' home

A man has been arrested for stealing a bench from outside Neil Patrick Harris' home in New York.

The "Gone Girl" star's butler, Damian Acosta, noticed the bench was missing and went looking for it around the neighbourhood.

According to the New York Daily News, Acosta found Darrian Humphries trying to sell the bench, which is valued at USD 500 and called police.

The suspect was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property.

Harris, 42, was reportedly vacationing in the Bahamas with his husband, David Burtka, and their children when the bench went missing.
