Man arrested in extortion case in Rajasthan

A criminal carrying a cash reward of Rs 2000 has been arrested in an extortion case from Hindaun city, police said today.

The accused Dharmraj Gurjar, a resident of Salempur in Dausa, was arrested yesterday by the Karauli police.

He was wanted in an extortion case that was lodged in July this year by an owner of a coaching centre, SP Karauli Anil Kayal said.

As many as 12 cases are registered against the accused, the SP said.
