Man arrested with 4.880 kg of charas

A man was arrested today for allegedly supplying drugs and 4.880 kg of charas was seized from his possession, police said.

The accused was identified as Jitender, a native of Karsog in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, they said.

Acting on a tip-off, the Special Task Force (STF) today nabbed the accused from Sonepat, the police said.

A case under the NDPS Act was registered against him, they said, adding that a probe in the matter is underway.
