Man arrested with a pistol in Jammu

A man was arrested with a pistol and four live rounds of ammunition in the outskirts of Jammu city today, the police said.

A police party stopped one pedestrian for checking in the Muralian area in the Miran Sahib belt today and found a pistol and four live cartridges in his possession, a police officer said.

In this connection, a case has been registered at Miran Sahib police station, he said.
