Man arrested with beef, skin

A person has been arrested on charges of slaughtering cows in Rajasthan's Bharatpur district, police said today.

Following a tip off, police conducted a raid at a house in Kethwada village and arrested Ibrahim.

"Nearly 60-kg of beef, cows skins have been recovered from his possession. Another man, Akhtar, who was also involved with him, managed to escape from Kethwada village, SP Kailash Chand Vishnoi said.

The accused has been placed under arrest and being interrogated, he said.
